THE SSC PLANNING AND REVIEW BOARD
The planning for development of the Sorsogon State College is vested in the Planning and Review Board headed by the President, as Chairman co-chaired by the two (2) Vice-Presidents for Academic Affairs and Administration. Pursuant to SSC Memorandum No. 57, s. 2010 dated November 3, 2010, and subsequent policies pertaining to it. The members constitute the Administrative Council, Faculty Federation President, GAD Focal Person, and the Student Federation President. In this Board, the planning director acts as the coordinator and facilitator of the undertakings.

Functions
- Approve targets and goals for the ensuring year.
- Review and evaluate SSC plans for development;
- Provide policy actions on the approval, implementation, and review of the plan;
- Recommend measures to be adopted in the effective delivery of services in the College.
CAMPUS PLANNING TASK FORCE
Planning by campus level shall be undertaken by the Campus Planning Task Force pursuant to SSC Memo No. 57, s. 2010, and subsequent policies issued therein. It is tasked to facilitate integrative, consultative, participative planning processes articulating bottoms-up approach. This group is the core planning group of the campus headed by the Campus Director.

Functions
- Spearhead goal and target setting for planning in the campus level.
- Facilitate the preparation of unit and campus operational, and work financial plan.
- Convene for consultative meetings for the preparation of short and long term plan;
- Convene for the review and evaluation of the campus plans and provide inputs on gaps, issues and concerns on plan implementation;
- Recommend areas for improvement of unit/campus;
- Submit periodic reports/updates on the status of implementation of PAPs in the plan.
